About this Mod


With this simple fabric mod you can add a little color to your items with ChromaAnvils. This mod lets you style and color your items however you want, enabling you to have cool and unique items.

🔒 Permissions
If you have a permission plugin/mod like LuckPerms, you are required to have the permission chromaanvils.use to be able to use it. If you don't have any permission plugins/mods, all players are able to use it.
Additionally, you will also need to have the following permissions, corresponding to the formatting you want to allow:

✏️ Formating
Named colors: black, dark_blue, dark_green, dark_aqua, dark_red, dark_purple, gold, gray, dark_gray, blue, green, aqua, red, light_purple, yellow, or white.
You can also use the MiniMessage Viewer to "generate" the styling so that you dont have to fiddle with the tags

How to Install ChromaAnvils on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "ChromaAnvils". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

ChromaAnvils server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is ChromaAnvils compatible with fabric?
ChromaAnvils officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.6. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with ChromaAnvils – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if ChromaAnvils consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
