- Echoing Time Boots: Boots that create decoy afterimages when sprinting
- Chrono Aegis: An activated buff artifact crafted from 4 mid-boss drops that provides major advantages against Time Tyrant (right-click to activate)
- Unstable Pocket Watch: Swap speed effects with enemies
🛡️ ChronoDawn Custom Shields (3 tiers)
A tiered line of shields that fit the time-themed dimension — independent from the Chrono Aegis artifact:
- Clockstone Shield (T1): 400 durability, base tier
- Enhanced Clockstone Shield (T2): 600 durability, adds Speed I on each successful block
- Entropy Crystal Shield (T3): 800 durability, adds Time Echo that auto-blocks the next hit within 5 seconds after a successful block
- All tiers halve incoming Slowness / Weakness / Mining Fatigue duration while held, and raise to block faster than a vanilla shield on MC 1.21.5+
- Crafted via an upgrade chain using Time Wood plank variants (Time Wood → Dark Time Wood → Ancient Time Wood)

- Paradox Crawler: Replaces Spider - phase-shifting predator
- Epoch Husk: Replaces Zombie - time-worn undead
- Moment Creeper: Replaces Creeper - explosive time anomaly
- Forgotten Minute: Flying hostile mob with unique AI
- Chronal Leech: Hostile mob that drains time energy
- Ticking Sheep: Replaces Sheep - shearable for light blue wool, wool regrows after eating grass

📖 How to Play
Step 1: Find Ancient Ruins
Explore the Overworld to discover Ancient Ruins. Mine Clockstone Ore and craft the Time Hourglass.
Step 2: Enter Chrono Dawn
Build a portal frame using Clockstone Blocks (minimum 4×5, maximum 23×23). Activate it with the Time Hourglass to enter the dimension.
⚠️ Warning: The portal becomes one-way after entry! You'll need to find a way back.
Step 3: Find the Forgotten Library
Explore Chrono Dawn to locate the Forgotten Library. Discover the Portal Stabilizer recipe to unlock bidirectional travel.
Step 4: Stabilize the Portal
Craft the Portal Stabilizer using Enhanced Clockstone from the Desert Clock Tower. Use it on your portal to enable free travel between dimensions.
Step 5: Defeat the Mid-Bosses
- Defeat Chronos Warden in the Guardian Vault to obtain Guardian Stone
- Defeat Clockwork Colossus in the Clockwork Depths to obtain Colossus Gear
- Defeat Temporal Phantom in the Phantom Catacombs to obtain Phantom Essence
- Defeat Entropy Keeper in the Entropy Crypt to obtain Entropy Core
Step 6: Craft Chrono Aegis
- Use the 4 mid-boss drops to craft Chrono Aegis, an activated buff artifact (right-click to activate)
- Chrono Aegis provides significant advantages against the Time Tyrant final boss for 10 minutes
Step 7: Conquer the Final Boss
- Defeat the Time Guardian mini-boss to obtain the Master Clock Key
- Use the Master Clock Key to access the Master Clock dungeon
- Face the Time Tyrant and claim ultimate power over time
Step 8: Craft Ultimate Artifacts
Use Fragments of Stasis Core (dropped by the Time Tyrant) to create legendary artifacts with time-manipulating abilities.

Time Manipulation Mechanics
- Time Distortion: Hostile mobs in Chrono Dawn move extremely slowly
- Reversing Time Sandstone: Blocks that regenerate after being broken
- Unstable Fungus: Blocks that apply random speed effects when stepped on
- Time Clock: Cancel enemy attacks with a cooldown-based utility item
Portal System
- One-Way Entry: Initial portal travel is one-way, creating survival tension
- Dimension Stabilization: Use Portal Stabilizer to unlock bidirectional travel
- Multiple Portals: Create portal networks after stabilization
Boss Mechanics
- Dynamic AI: Each boss has unique attack patterns and abilities
- Phase Transitions: Time Tyrant becomes more powerful below 50% health
- Proximity Spawning: Temporal Phantom spawns when you enter the boss room
- Loot Rewards: Defeat bosses to obtain crafting materials for ultimate artifacts

How to Install Chrono Dawn on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Chrono Dawn". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Chrono Dawn server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Chrono Dawn compatible with fabric and neoforge?
Chrono Dawn officially supports fabric, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Chrono Dawn – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Chrono Dawn consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
