Chunks and Bits

Chunks and Bits, a mod to still your hunger for more realistic tools.
It adds chunks of ores and rocks, which you can throw, and craft into tools for, well, mining, and crafting.

It also adds plant fibres, to bind the material to the handle, because you can't just put a rock on a stick and expect it to work, can you?

Resource gathering:
Rocks: You can find rocks laying around in your world. Break them to get the rock item, which you can throw.
Ore Chunks: New, you can gather ore chunks from ores, which you have to craft open with pickaxes. You get raw metal chunks, which you can melt to get small ingots, to craft the mod's tools.
Plant Fibre: You can get plant fibres from breaking grass.
Other resources: Vanilla gathering

Added Items:
Rock tools & rock hammer: Slightly worse stone tools. Instead of a rock sword, you get a rock hammer, which is stronger, but also slower than a rock axe. There is also the simplest tool, which is just two rocks.

Small gold and iron tools & knives: Slightly worse gold and iron tools. You don't need swords, you have knives!

This mod is a heavy WIP, so expect textures not being there, and not many features being included.
