About this Mod

Client name changer is a FABRIC mod for changing your name client side. That means only you can see that new name.

How to use:

-For changing your nickname, use the command /nickname newnickname
-For resetting it, use /clearnick

Note (important): If someone says your name in chat, you will see your custom nickname, but he will see your original nickname. In other words, users are seeing your normal nickname, but you are seeing the custom nickname you've set.

Disclaimer:

This mod is NOT a hack. It only changes your name client side (only you can see it, and NOT the server/other users).

How to Install Client name changer on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Client name changer". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
