About this Mod
Do you wish for a more immersive and beautiful way of getting a Cobblemon starter?
With this mod you can turn any block (even from mods) into an offering shrine to get in touch with pokemons from the local biome! Depending on the quality of your items offered, you will attract a certain Pokemon.

What is an offering shrine?
A focal point for local worship or for offering spiritual protection, dedicated to the spirits or the Kami (gods). In a similar fashion of how animals were seen as messenger of the Kami, here you can attract with your love and effort a Pokemon that will decide to be your companion based on your offering.
To create one, type "/biomestarter shrine create" while looking at the block.
To delete type "/biomestarter shrine delete"
There are config options to put curses on players that break them or to deactivate curses (I do not like to play with protections)

What is and offering?
A group of maximum 5 singular items BY SLOT (4 if you activated pokeballs as a requeriments for the offering) that cannot be stacked (DO NOT TRY TO PUT 64 BLOCKS OF DIRTS, it will count as just one, same with other items)

Once you press "End Offering" you will have to wait an amount of time (tics) for the Pokemon to come. You can check the config file, it explains more in detail your options.
For Japanese block (like the hokora and the fox statue I use) I recommend:

For oriental stone lanterns I reccomend:

I also recommend setting Cobblemon's starters.json first 2 options as false
I also work making custom mods for servers, specially for cobblemon which I love
hit me up on discord @adalparzival
Stuff to come:
I will try to implement cobblecuisine with its addons and implement and option for only food based offerings.
Add shrines
I did this mod because I got bored of selecting predefined options for starters and I also wanted to feel part of the local Biome. The file is called Biomestarter because I wanted to replace the starter screen with my crazy method of randomized and filtered pokemon by biome, but I ended up making this.

Cobbleshrines server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Cobbleshrines compatible with neoforge?
Cobbleshrines officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Cobbleshrines – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Cobbleshrines consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
