About this Mod

Have you ever wanted things to be crafted different or to be easier to obtain?

Like seriously, it makes no sense that saddles and name tags aren't craftable. (see what I did there?) Well this mod aims to change that by adding not only vanilla styled recipes but doesn't make the game overpowered and adds use to items that don't have full uses!

My favorite example of this is using copper instead of gold for powered rails! It doesn't only make it easier to get but gives an even bigger use to copper!

Everything that got a recipe is listed here:

  • Bell
  • Chainmail Helmet
  • Chainmail Chestplate
  • Chainmail Leggings
  • Chainmail Boots
  • Iron Horse Armor
  • Golden Horse Armor
  • Diamond Horse Armor
  • Name Tag
  • Saddle
  • Leather

Everything that got a changed recipe is listed here:

  • Powered Rail

Frequently Asked Questions

Craftables server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Craftables compatible with fabric?

Craftables officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Craftables – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Craftables consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
