Description

This mod aims to improve Minecraft's combat features. Although I added some features from the Java Combat update snapshots, the goal of this mod is neither to copy exactly those features, nor all of them. I also added some original features, so there are a few new new mechanics. Feel free to ask for new features or changes in the comment section =)

One of the biggest feature of this mod is the ability to change any tools/weapons attributes (attack damage, attack speed AND attack range!) of Minecraft vanilla and even most tools/weapons from your favorite mods!

Full description

Sword

• Sweeping edge active only with enchantment

Shield

• Enchantable with the table: get unbreaking
• Can add thorns with anvil
• Reduce the arc of protection from 180 to 120 degrees
• Nerfed shield damage absorption: can absorb up to 5 damage, you take the remaining damage (does not apply to explosions, they are still fully blocked)
• Removed shield delay, you can now use shield to instantly block

Axe

• Cooldown to use shield after attacking with axe
• Cooldown to use axe after using shield

Bow

• Power is less powerful, power 5 is the same as the vanilla power 3
• Either you get power to deal more damage, or you get punch/flame/infinity but not both

Crossbow

• Multishot can be used with piercing

Flint and steel

• Using it on an entity will set it on fire for 3s, it will then target you

Eat/Drink

• Eating/Drinking action is cancelled when attacked
• Drink potions faster

Stacks

• Non-throwable potions can be stacked by 16
• Splash/Lingering potions can be stacked by 16, but have a 5s cooldown
• Milk buckets can be stacked by 16
• Snow balls can be stacked by 64

Snow balls/eggs

• If thrown by a player, hit and knockback players without damage
• Knockback can be stopped with shield
• Has now a cooldown (you can't really tell the difference, but the server will)

Tools attributes

• Changes the tools attack damage, speed and reach
