Ever wanted to bash/smash/spindash into enemies in Minecraft? Here's your chance!

An addon mod for Combat Roll by daedelus, this small mod makes the signature roll from a defensive getaway tool into an offensive attack maneuverer!

Rolling into an enemy now damages and knocks them back! The roll itself is still handled by Combat Roll, so the distance, cooldown time and everything can still be configured, but the damage and knockback force can too.

On top of that, Combat Bash adds a new enchantment, Inertia, to increase damage dealt by your rolls. If you so wish, you can make the bash only trigger if you have at least one level of this enchantment!

Ever wanted team attacks to be viable in Minecraft? Here's your chance!

From version 1.2, Combat Bash also reworks the invulnerability frame system to be per player: If you hit a mob, it's only immune to your attacks for the next second, letting your friends hit it too! (Configurable)

Frequently Asked Questions

Combat Bash server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Combat Bash compatible with fabric and forge?

Combat Bash officially supports fabric, forge for Minecraft 1.20.4, 1.20.3, 1.20.2. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Combat Bash – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Combat Bash consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
