Combat Shovels

Combat Shovels is a mod that, well... You get the idea. I did a couple small tweaks to your shovels to make em just as good a weapon choice as your axe or sword. (maybe even TOO good..)

Stun Attack

Land a critical hit with any shovel to stun the target, playing a goofy sound effect and freezing them in place for 1.5 seconds. Great for stunlocking enemies.

New Enchantments

Clobbering - Think of it like Sharpness on your shovel. Has levels ranging from I-V, adding 1 damage per level. Regardless of level, this enchantment also raises the duration of the stun from your critical attacks from 1.5 seconds to 3.

Burial - This one lets you bury enemies in the ground by right clicking on them, trapping and suffocating them. Only works if the block they are standing on is soft enough (usually shovel mineable blocks).

Home Run - Allows you to launch blocks from your offhand, dealing damage from a distance and stunning foes for a short time. Some blocks even have special effects of their own.

Dirt and Gravel - No special effects.

Sand and Red Sand - inflicts blindness.

Mud - Doesn't stun, but inflicts Slowness for a short time.

Cobblestone and Cobbled Deepslate - Higher damage and stun duration than dirt or gravel, but lower range.

Snow Block - Deals no damage but has very high knockback (super snowball).

Obsidian - Very high damage and stun duration but poor range.

Netherrack - Lights targets on fire.

End Stone - Teleports targets 10 blocks above their current location.

Bedrock - One shots any mob without fail.

TNT - Explodes and destroys blocks.

End Crystal - Explodes, but doesn't destroy blocks. Still destroys life though, so be careful.

Equalize - Gives you Strength and Speed boosts that increase in potency as your health gets lower. Has levels ranging from 1 to 3. At maximum potential, you can get Strength 4 and Speed 2 while below 4 health (2 hearts). This, of course, can be combined with Clobbering, to turn you into an unstoppable menace. Did I go overboard with this one? Probably.

New Shovel

And of course, the mod didn't feel complete unless I added the ultimate shovel. Zombies, Husks, Skeletons, and Strays all now have a 1 in 500 chance to drop a Broken Hero Shovel. Combine this with all vanilla shovels in a crafting table to create something truly special.

Will I update the mod to newer versions? Don't know, maybe if I get bored enough to work on this again.
Will I port the mod to older versions? No.
