About this Mod
A client-side addon for Villager Recruits that makes managing your army a lot easier!
Important: You MUST have the Villager Recruits mod installed (version 1.15.0 or newer) for this addon to work! If you don't have Recruits installed, your game will crash on startup!
Compatibility: Because this addon is purely client-side, it does not change any server-side code. This means it will not conflict with other mods and is completely safe to use in any modpack.
Features:
- Press "H" to toggle a glow effect around nearby recruits. They will glow in different colors based on their class:
- Green = Own Infantry
- Cyan = Own Ranged Units (Bowmen/Crossbowmen)
- Lime = Own Cavalry (Horsemen)
- Blue = Allied
- Red = Hostile
- Yellow = Neutral
- Press "R" on a recruit and select groups in the command menu. The selected recruits will glow White!
- "H" acts as the master switch: If H is off, nothing glows.
- Fully customizable Config file (commandersvision-client.toml) to change colors and range.

Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Commanders Vision X Villager Recruits Addon". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
