Common Protection API: Spawn Protection Integration
Spawn Protection and End Portal Protection for mods supporting Common Protection API
About this Mod
What does this mod do?
This mod protects every dimensions spawn area, as well as the Exit Portal in the End, from changes made by players and their machines. Provided, that this mod supports the Common Protection API.
Players and their machines with permission level >= 2 will be able to bypass this protection. (similar how vanilla handles it's spawn protection).
What is the deal when this mod is not installed
Modded machines and tools are able to modify blocks in the spawn area - that do not have explicit checks for this. (Almost no mod has them)
What is the Common Protection API?
Common Protection API is a mod written by Patbox to serve as a interface between protection and claim mods (that allow you to protect your stuff) and content mods (everything that changes the world, like auto miners, modded explosives, ...).
Content mods can query this API to see if any installed protection mod that supports Common Protection API protects this piece of land, without having to add dedicated for every individual claim mod in existence.
What mods support Common Protection API?
Some major content mods on fabric support Common Protection API already:
and others, like FLAN, are in the works.
