About this Mod

This mod adds Compost Bins, which are like the Composter, but with storage and automated composting.

Crafting

A Compost Bin can be crafted with 8 Wooden Slabs in an outlined square pattern, similar to the Composter.

Technical details

The Compost Bin emits Redstone output
Items can be inserted and extracted using Hoppers
Items are composted/filled every 8 ticks matching Hopper speed. Composting takes place in one cycle (8 ticks), slightly faster than a filled Composter.

How to Install Compost Bin on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set quilt Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the quilt loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Compost Bin". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
