About this Mod

A simple mod that makes items in certain slots not drop on death. By default the mod keeps:

The first 4 hotbar items
Armor
Offhand item

Configuration

The mod's config file can be found at your_mod_profile/config/configuredkeepinventory.json

The config allows you to configure what slots are kept on death. The config contains a list of integers representing the index of each slot.

Slot indexes:

0 - 8 = Hotbar
9 - 35 = Main Inventory
36 = Boots
37 = Leggings
38 = Chestplate
39 = Helmet
40 = Offhand

How to Install Configured Keep Inventory on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Configured Keep Inventory". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
