About this Mod
Coni's Crates
Coni's Crates is a simple bulk storage mod which adds Crates. Crates are storage blocks only accessible via hoppers, or blocks added by other mods which act similar to hoppers. Crates also support using redstone comparators with them. there are six tiers of Crates available in survival:
- Wooden Crate
- Copper Crate
- Iron Crate
- Golden Crate
- Diamond Crate
- Netherite Crate
The number of items you can fit in a crate increases the higher the tier. However this is not the case for the Creative Crate, where whichever item is funneled into it will get duplicated infinitely.
The mod is currently available for Neoforge ONLY. A fabric port will come in the future.

How to Install Coni's Crates on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.8).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Coni's Crates". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Coni's Crates server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Coni's Crates consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
