Consistent Sprint
Boosts base sprinting speed to match jumping momentum and removing speed boost when sprint-jumping, removing the need for constant "bunny hopping" to travel quickly. For a more calm and immersive experience.
About this Mod
A simple mod that makes sprint-jumping the same speed as sprinting. When sprinting (and not strafing), the player exponentially accelerates to a set target speed (configurable, 6.36 by default).
Hopefully, this makes movement a calmer and more immersive experience.
Sprinting and sprint-jumping always have the same speed.
Includes 3 presets for base and target sprinting speeds, configurable via Mod Menu:
- 5.61 blocks/second
- 6.36 blocks/second
- 7.12 blocks/second
The time taken to reach the target speed is also configurable (3 seconds by default).
Works with the Sinytra Connector.

Server lagging with Consistent Sprint – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Consistent Sprint consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
