About this Mod
Welcome to The Cosmere!
Overview
The Cosmere is a universe devised by Brandon Sanderson, encompassing many worlds, each with their own variation of magic.
This collection of mods aim to bring all of that to Minecraft itself... eventually.
This is a tools mod!
That means this mods functionality is largely around providing extra crafting recipes related to tools and armor. In the future, we also want to give those new items metalmind functionality if you use our Feruchemy mod. This is not currently in the mod right now.
Inter-Mod Compatibilities
(Required!) The Cosmere Library Mod - as it provides the metal ingots needed to craft the new items
(Optional) Feruchemy - Allowing you to use the metal items and armor as feruchemical storage. Again, not currently in the mod right now!

How to Install Cosmere Tools & Armor on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Cosmere Tools & Armor". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Cosmere Tools & Armor server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Cosmere Tools & Armor compatible with forge and neoforge?
Cosmere Tools & Armor officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.19.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Cosmere Tools & Armor – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Cosmere Tools & Armor consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
