About this Mod
COSMETIC NAMETAGS is a mod that adds a trinket slot for a nametag, which changes your username above your head and in chat.

I'm working on bringing it to other versions, but it's a lot of menial labor and I work at my job and on my other mod Beetlebox a lot, so let me know if there's a version you'd like me to prioritize.
Feel free to use in your modpacks or servers, as long as you're not repackaging the mod and offering it for download yourself.

How to Install Cosmetic Nametags on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Cosmetic Nametags". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
