About this Mod

CYBERNETICS-MAIN-PIC.png

This mod is heavily inspired by Flaxbeard's Cyberware mod for 1.10.2, and various cyberpunk media. Still a Work In Progress, so expect some bugs here and there.

Adds an extensive list of cybernetic implants. Mix and match to suit your playstyle! Wanna be cyberninja? You can do that! Wanna be a hulking monster? You can do that! Wanna be a fish man? You can do that! With all of these implants, the possibilities are, maybe not endless, but definitely immense.

CYBERNETICS:

There are about 100 implants (currently) that you can use depending on which compats you play with. To see the full list, check the wiki. Almost every single one of these implants has a unique purpose or function, allowing you to mix and match to suit your playstyle. On top of having 79 implants to mix and match, by checking the wiki, you can install Full Body Conversion sets that will completely change your player skin, and grant some extra boosts.

Keep in mind that almost all of these items (including Full Body Conversions, A.K.A. FBCs or Full Borgs) require power and humanity maintenance.

MOBS:

  • Cyberzombie - A zombified Cyborg from the old world. Probably chromed too hard...
  • Cyberskeleton - A cyberzombie from the old world that's been around so long all of it's skin sloughed off.
  • Smasher - A fully borged Illager experiment, built to destroy.
  • Ripper - A morally dubious illager surgeon, and cybernetics expert. He can help you with your implants. For a price.

GETTING STARTED:

  1. Craft an Engineering Table. This will be the basis for your revolution. With this you can craft and disassemble all cyberware.
  2. Find a Ripper Clinic. In this building you will find a Surgery Table and a Ripper who will install your cyberware for you. Be wary though, if his Trustworthiness is too low, he might steal an implant from you instead of installing it. To increase his Trustworthiness, show him how profitable you are by trading with him.
  3. Find a Netherite Quantum Processor. You can get this from Nether Fortresses, Bastions, and even Ominous Vaults. This will allow you to build the Robosurgeon, a thinking machine capable of installing cybernetic implants into your body. Open the GUI to configure your cybernetic build.
  4. Craft a Surgery Chamber. Put the Robosurgeon on top of it and you'll be able to install cyberware by walking in and closing the door behind you.

CURRENT COMPATS:

  • Create - Mostly just changes recipes
  • Caelus API - Adds a Deployable Elytra
  • JEI - Obviously :P
  • Cold Sweat - Adds Enhanced Sweat Glands, and Polar Bear Blubber for thermal regulation, as well as adding thermal regulation to Isothermal Skin and Polar Bear Fur.
  • Create: Enchantment Industry - Adds Cortical Stack and Needlecaster
  • Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks - Adds Mana Capacitor for storing mana, Mana Assimilator for absorbing mana as energy, and Spelljammer, for preventing most spellcasting in a 25 block radius.
  • Corpse - Adds overlays to the player corpses.
  • Vic's Point Blank - Adds overlays to the first person animated arms. Should work with other mods that use Geckolib as well. (Try with Cyberpunk Guns)
  • Better Combat - Adds overlays to the first person animated arms. Might work with other mods that use Player Animator as well.
  • Female Gender Mod - Applys overlays to model attachments.

ALSO CHECK OUT:
CyberSpells by SilverXavier - A bridge between the arcane arts and cybernetic enhancement. This mod allows you to channel the power of magical runes directly into your physical form through specialized cybernetic implants. (REQUIRES IRON'S SPELLS 'N SPELLBOOKS)
Cybernetics: Cyberchems by Perigrine3 - An addon that adds 6 new cyberchemicals to modify your biology, and unravel your mind.

PLANS:

  • More compats (Open to recommendations, but if it doesn't fit my vision, it's not going in the mod), especially base tech mod compats
  • Better Music Discs (If you make music and are want your music in here, message me)
  • Old world structures (might make this a compat with Lost Cities)
  • Curios compat that adds cyberpunk aesthetic clothing and trinkets

All of this will take time. I am just one dude working on this by myself for free because I love Cyberpunk.

I recommend running this with Create, but that's a personal preference, it can run without it. Things are just a bit more expensive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cybernetics server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Cybernetics compatible with neoforge?

Cybernetics officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Cybernetics – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Cybernetics consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
