CringeCraft is a Forge-only Minecraft mod that adds a collection of highly cursed and questionably powerful cringe-themed items and mechanics to your world. The core of the mod revolves around the concept of “cringe” as an energy source, a damage type, and a lifestyle. It introduces the Orb of Cringe, a mystical item that radiates pure secondhand embarrassment, often accompanied by sparkly particles and regret. There’s also the Orb of Immunity, a sacred relic that protects its bearer from cringe-based attacks and awkward social encounters. The mod features a custom damage type called Cringe Damage, which bypasses armor and affects entities on a spiritual level—unless, of course, they are holding the Orb of Immunity or have an unshakable sense of self-worth. To weaponize the cringe, players can use the Cringe Launcher, a janky yet powerful device that fires Cringe Projectiles. These projectiles deal Cringe Damage and may cause the target to suffer from a fictional status effect known as Cringe, which makes them behave erratically while questioning their life choices. The Cringe Launcher requires cringe essence (or any custom ammo you define) and the Orb of Cringe to craft. The mod is currently in development for Forge and is only compatible with Forge-based setups for now. CringeCraft is ideal for players who want to add a layer of chaotic humor to their Minecraft world, troll their friends with awkward energy blasts, or simply roleplay as the embodiment of “why did I do that.” Warning: may cause flashbacks to middle school behavior, and should be used responsibly by those prepared to embrace their inner cringe.
