I was shearing my sheep one day, and thought it would go much faster if I could critically shear them. So, I made this mod. Whenever you shear a sheep with a critical hit, it is guaranteed to drop three wool instead of 1-3.

The server I was playing on wasn't actually a modded server though, so I don't really get to reap the rewards of this mod. I suppose you could call me a martyr. Thank me later.

Jokes aside, enjoy the mod!

It's not strictly required on the client, but without the catharsis of the crit sound and particles, why bother?

How to Install Critical Shears on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Critical Shears". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
