Crops Need Sky
A Minecraft mod that makes crops and plants require direct sky access to grow, else they decay in a dead bush, adding a new layer of realism and challenge to farming.

Features
- Plants require direct sky access to grow and survive
- Plants without direct sky access will die when attempting to grow, turning into dead bushes
- Affects the following blocks:
- All standard crops (Wheat, Carrots, Potatoes, etc.). Should be compatible with other modded crops as long as they extend CropBlock class
- Melon and Pumpkin stems
- Sugar Cane
- Bamboo
- Cactus
- Sweet Berry Bushes
- Prevents bone meal usage on plants without direct sky access
- This mod has no effect on tree saplings and fully grown plants
- Glass(Fabric version only) or leaves blocks will still prevent plant growth

- Check the cropsneedsky.toml file inside your config folder to enable/disable mod features

How to Install Crops Need Sky on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Crops Need Sky". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
