A mod which applies a random curse with a configurable chance each night to a random enchantable item in players inventory.
About this Mod
Porting information for 26.1 update
This is a mod which applies random Curse enchantments at three random times from midnight to 3am in-game. These times
are resettet each day. The chance is configurable in the server config. To prevent this, you simply need to sleep.
But be aware, too many sleeping may add curses, too. This is configurable as well. The mod needs to be on client and
server. If the mod is only on server, the client will only see the unlocalized message.
It is highly recommended to use this mod with other mods which add curse enchantments
You are allowed to put this mod in any modpack you like.

How to Install Curse of Curses on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Curse of Curses". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Curse of Curses server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Curse of Curses consumes the most tick time.
