About this Mod

Sword and Sheath

Overview

This data pack/mod adds a stylized version of the legendary cursed katana of Muramasa from Japanese legends. It can be found within a new structure called the dilapidated temple which generates in cherry groves, jagged peaks, and taiga forests.

Beware of the curse! If the katana does not claim a life in time, it will take the user's instead.

Features:

  • Slice: a large cutting attack, left click and swipe
  • Sheath Draw: a flurry of cutting attacks, hold in offhand for a second, then swap
  • Dodge: grants I-Frames, tap crouch
  • Parry & Guard: blocks incoming damage and retaliates if timed right, tap or hold right click
  • Curse: deals true damage to the user after a period of time without killing, resets upon killing an entity with the katana

How to Install Cursed Blade Muramasa on Your Server

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
