Biomes:

The Toxic Bogs: it contains a new wood type, witch huts, frogs and green water.

Currently cannot craft chests, fences, ect out of the new wood type.

Snowy Birch Forest:

A birch forest with snow. thats it

The Sea of Sand: it was once an actual sea, but however is now dried up. Because of this, some structures you'd find in an ocean can be found here, along with most things you'd find in a desert.

Weapons:

Iron Katana: like an iron sword, but faster and does slightly more damage.

Gold Katana: Quicker but weaker than an iron katana. However, it's blade is not pure gold. Instead you apply gold to an iron katana to make it. if it were pure gold it would break too quickly.

Steel Katana: The strongest, yet the slowest out of all of the katanas. its recipe is a bit more complex than the rest.

Throwing Star: a small expendable weapon to pummel your foes. when it lands you cannot get it back.

Shuriken: Not to be confused with the throwing star. a reuseable ranged weapon that you can throw more than once but will break eventually.

The golden weapons:
Notice: these items cannot be obtained in survival yet.
3 out of 4 golden weapons do 6 attack damage for meelee, 5 for ranged attacks.
The fourth does 5 for meelee and 6 for ranged.

Scythe of Quakes:
It can break blocks but cannot harvest all of them due to it being a weapon.
to use its ranged attack you need an Elemental Earth Charge, they are obtained via crafting them from your golden weapon. (This won't take the weapon away)
Once you have the Elemental Charge, you can peform ranged attacks with the scythe by holding RMB and then letting go.

Sword of Fire:
To use its ranged attack you need an Elemental Fire Charge, they are obtained via crafting them from your golden weapon. (This won't take the weapon away)
Once you have the Elemental Charge, you can peform ranged attacks with the sword by holding RMB and then letting go.

Nunchucks of Lightning:
To use its ranged attack you need an Elemental Lightning Charge, they are obtained via crafting them from your golden weapon. (This won't take the weapon away)
Once you have the Elemental Charge, you can peform ranged attacks with the nunchucks by holding RMB and then letting go.

Shuriken of Ice:
Unlike the rest of the four golden weapons, you do not need an Elemental Charge. Instead you simply throw the weapon with RMB and let go.
