About this Mod

Dauth is a lightweight security mod for Minecraft servers. It adds a simple login screen that appears when you join.

Protect Your Account: Use GUI to create an account so no one else can play as you.
Streamer Friendly: When you log in, your password is hidden (******) so it’s safe to stream or record.
3 Attempts Kick: If someone guesses your password wrong 3 times, they get kicked from the server.

Commands for Admins:

/dauth reset <player> - Resets a player's password.

/dauth set <player> <password> - Forcefully sets a new password for a player.

How to Install DAuthentication on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "DAuthentication". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

DAuthentication server crashes on startup – what to do?
