About this Mod

A minecraft taiga village with various blue boxes around each structure, with a green box around the central well and a white box around the whole village. The sun is setting in the background, and the F3 screen is open with a new piece of text on the left side stating
This mod reimplements those secret developer debug renderers that exist only in non-public builds of minecraft.

The default keybind is F4 (or shift F4 to go back) to cycle through debug renderers (the F3 menu must be open to see them)

The server must have the mod to use certain renderers (the ones labelled "DISABLED")

Pathfinder debug rendering is currently not implemented due to a crash that occurs when serializing Paths into packets

Probably useful for something.

Planned Features:

  • Server-side configurability Added in 1.1.0

Frequently Asked Questions

Debug Renderers server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Debug Renderers compatible with fabric?

Debug Renderers officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Debug Renderers – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Debug Renderers consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
