About this Mod
This is an official add-on to the Diamethysts mod. The Diamethysts mod is a required dependency and this mod will not work without it.
This mod adds a living, breathing (maybe), larger than life golem made of pure diamethyst. The golem is fast, strong, robust, and healthy. Adding one to a village will provide an extra layer of protection from raids and other threats. Unfortunately, villagers do not have access to the materials needed to make them so they will not spawn naturally. To create a golem, place blocks of diamethyst in the same pattern as when making an iron golem. Add a carved pumpkin or jack-o-lantern for a head and the golem will be born. Diamethyst golems will occasionally offer a diamethyst cluster. When that happens, you can right click on the golem with an empty hand had he will drop the cluster for you. As the golem becomes damaged, his face will change and cracks will begin to appear. You can heal golems by right clicking on them with diamethyst crystals or shards.

How to Install Diamethyst Golem on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Diamethyst Golem". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Diamethyst Golem server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Diamethyst Golem compatible with forge and neoforge?
Diamethyst Golem officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.20.1, 1.19.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Diamethyst Golem – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Diamethyst Golem consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
