About this Mod
Adds an extra difficulty layer to increase the stats of enemies (and also allies)
Issues are tracked on my Discord in #difficultytweak-bugs as i dont have a github page.
Projectile Damage Attribute is a required dependency to buff certain ranged enemies
Listed for 1.19/1.20 but older versions are just untested so try it if you want.
Change difficulty with /function,
Difficulties are as follows:
Normal: Standard minecraft gameplay, just used to clear effects of other difficulties,
Expert: All mob damage and move speed increased by 20%, All mob health increased by 50%,
Master: All mob damage and move speed increased by 40%, All mob health increased by 100%,
Death: All mob damage and move speed increased by 60%, All mob health increased by 150%,

How to Install Difficulty Tweak on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Difficulty Tweak". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Difficulty Tweak server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Difficulty Tweak compatible with fabric?
Difficulty Tweak officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.20. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Difficulty Tweak – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Difficulty Tweak consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
