Hey diggers! Tired of digging in the dark, with torches constantly going out? Need to hold something other than a torch in your left hand? The Digger's Helmet is your solution!
Here's how to get it:
Find a zombie that spawns with an Eternal Candle in its hand (20% chance).
Defeat it, claim the Eternal Candle, and craft the Digger's Helmet.
Features:
Dynamic lighting when worn (enables dynamic entity lighting on Sodium).
Custom animated model — watch the candle glow! 🔥
Bonus modules included:
Auto-Hydrator Module — No more manual drinking! Automatically detects water bottles, buckets, or any liquid containers in your inventory and hydrates you when installed in the helmet.
Mining Speed Module — Boosts mining speed for pickaxes and shovels when equipped in the Digger's Helmet.

How to Install Digger Helmet on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Digger Helmet". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Digger Helmet server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Digger Helmet compatible with forge and neoforge?
Digger Helmet officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Digger Helmet – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Digger Helmet consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
