About this Mod
No more right-clicking an annoying spyglass on your hotbar!
DodoSpyglass is a lightweight, quality-of-life mod that completely changes how you use the spyglass.
Just equip your spyglass in your Curios or dedicated Spyglass slot, and you are ready to go! No more wasting valuable hotbar space or manually holding down right-click. Just press "C" (fully configurable) and zoom in instantly! Feel free to use this on any modpack!
🛠️ Compatibility & Technical Details
- Tested Version: Fully tested and working on Curios API 9.5.1.
- Known Issue / Upcoming Fix: The empty slot background texture currently uses a temporary placeholder. A clean, custom texture is planned for the next update!
- Development For Newer Versions: Development for newer versions is planned but not immediately. If you really need this on a newer version let me know in the comments!
- Important Notice for 1.19.2 Users: The version for Minecraft 1.19.2 is currently in development. There is an unknown bug preventing the custom Spyglass slot from generating properly. If you are a developer or have experience with Curios on this specific version and want to help, feel free to reach out in the comments!

Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
