About this Mod
A very lightweight server side mod that prevents dolphins from drowning when no players are around so you can have dolphins in aquariums or contraptions without the need for constant bubble columns.
(Doesn't load chunks, just prevents dolphins from taking drowning damage based on certain parameters)
As of 1.2.0:
Additional prevention for dryout damage while unable to move or while stuck midair after jumping
Added config to enable/disable both prevention fixes as well as to adjust the tolerance and safety air

How to Install dolphin-fix on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "dolphin-fix". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

dolphin-fix server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if dolphin-fix consumes the most tick time.
