About this Mod
DropBar turns your XP bar into a threat radar, focused entirely on what actually wants you dead. Coloured pips track nearby hostile mobs and angry “neutrals”, mapped to the XP bar from left to right based on direction, with size and fade hinting at distance and danger.
Pips dim when mobs hide behind walls, and flare with a RED glow when something is actively targeting you, glanceable awareness baked into UI you already read.
DropBar is client-only and lightweight; it works in survival and adventure without any server installation or configuration. Drop it in, press Page Down in-game to toggle On ↔ Off.
Perfect for hardcore worlds, challenge runs, new players and everyday cautious caving sessions.

DropBar server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is DropBar compatible with fabric?
DropBar officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with DropBar – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if DropBar consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
