About this Mod
Tired of accidentally placing torches in your offhand? Want to block with your shield without unequipping your bow?
Dual Wielder allows you to seperately configure your main-hand and off-hand keybinds to fix these common problems, and many more!
By default, the mod doesn't change anything, but if you open your keybind settings you can enable the mod's features.
By unbinding the default use key (Select it and press Escape) and binding the 2 new keybinds you can finally have full control over your off-hand and main-hand!
The mod is still a work in progress, so expect some issues. If you are encountering problems you can always switch between vanilla keybinds and modded keybinds

How to Install Dual Wielder on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Dual Wielder". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Dual Wielder server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Dual Wielder compatible with fabric?
Dual Wielder officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.21.3, 1.20.6. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Dual Wielder – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Dual Wielder consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
