EAM ExpMod
Experimental test mod for EAM, a cross-version/cross-platform/no-installation loader
About this Mod
This is an experimental mod for EAM, a cross-version/cross-platform/no-installation loader. When we get to it, we'll add more blocks and items (but specifically more ways to expose our internal mods more special features, like the Tool Gun / x86 emulator.)
To test this, you will need Java 25, and a way to input the JVM flag below:
-javaagent:<EAM JAR location>="-mod_type=minecraft -mod_arg=-version=<version #>"
NOTE: entering -help on the agent's parameters, or under -mod_arg will not allow the game to start, and will only print the local help / flags. The string to enter under the version argment is whatever is specified for a file on this site.
Please report any issues you have while running to our GitHub.

EAM ExpMod server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong java-agent version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is EAM ExpMod compatible with java-agent?
EAM ExpMod officially supports java-agent for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.0. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with EAM ExpMod – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if EAM ExpMod consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
