About this Mod
Easy End Lock is a lightweight server utility designed to make it easier for server owners to lock and unlock the End. It adds several commands with two modes.
Features:
- /easyendlock lock — Locks the end.
- /easyendlock unlock (countdown) — Unlocks the end with an optional countdown (Displayed in chat).
- /easyendlock status — Displays the Lock, PartialFillAllowed, and LockDimension status
- /easyendlock partialfillallowed (True/False) — If false, players won’t be able to put Eyes of Ender in portal frames; if true, they can put eyes in all frames except the last one. (Default is true)
- /easyendlock lockdimension (True/False) — If false, locking will only affect portals; if true, players in the End or attempting to enter the End will be teleported to their spawn point.
- Visual indicators showing the End is locked when attempting to enter the End or activate the portal.
- OPd players bypass all locks.

Performance and Environment
Easy End Lock is very lightweight and runs solely on the server. The performance impact is mostly negligible.
For Modpacks
This mod may be used in any modpack as long as it is distributed via CurseForge or Modrinth and links to the official project page. Redistribution of the jar file is not permitted.

How to Install Easy End Lock on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Easy End Lock". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Easy End Lock server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Easy End Lock compatible with forge?

Server lagging with Easy End Lock – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Easy End Lock consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
