About this Mod

This mod adds more food to minecraft. There's not much new food yet, but I will update this mod and add more food.

This mod adds these foods:

Ramen (Chicken, Beef)
Golden ramen (crafted with golden soy sauce)
Diamond ramen (crafted with a diamond block and 2 bottles of diamond soy sauce)
French Fries (They don't reduce hunger that much, but you can eat them fast.)
Cut Cooked Beef (It's an ingredient for the beef ramen)
Noodles
Dough (used to make noodles)
Chicken Soup
Carrot cake
Chocolate cake - Gives you speed for 1 minutes

JEI recommended (not required, but the crafting recipes can get confusing)

Frequently Asked Questions

Eat server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.6). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Eat compatible with forge and neoforge?

Eat officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.6, 1.21.5, 1.21.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Eat – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Eat consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
