About this Mod
I ONLY post my newer mods and mod updates to Modrinth! If you see my mods being uploaded to other websites under my name, THAT IS AN IMPOSTER AND IT HAS BEEN DONE SO WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! PLEASE DO NOT REUPLOAD MY MODS TO OTHER WEBSITES!!! NEVER DOWNLOAD UNOFFICIAL REPOSTS OF MY MODS, AS I DO NOT ENDORSE THEM AND ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THEY COULD BE VIRUSES!!! The ONLY exception are mods hosted on Planet Minecraft with older versions of my mods as that is where I originally started out sharing them!
Many of these recipes also require Feathers, Phantom Membrane and Leather!
This mod adds Three different Wings/Elytras, with plans to add MANY more in the future!
Currently in the Mod are:
- Several Different Angel Wings
- Several Different Dragon/Demon Wings
- Several Different Faerie Wings
For Recipes, it's recommended you also use Just Enough Items
Note that these wings, other than allowing Elytra-like flight, are purely cosmetic and currently do not have any other special abilities!

How to Install Elegant Elytras on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Elegant Elytras". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Elegant Elytras server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Elegant Elytras compatible with forge?
Elegant Elytras officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.18.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Elegant Elytras – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Elegant Elytras consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
