About this Mod
Elemental Swords
adds five unique swords to Minecraft, each themed around one of the basic elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Lightning. Every sword has its own special ability that fits the element it represents, offering a new way to fight mobs and explore the world.
You’ll find new elemental ores hidden throughout the world. Mine them to collect shards, then craft powerful swords using simple but logical recipes. The Fire Sword burns enemies on hit, the Water Sword slows them down, the Earth Sword weakens them with fatigue, the Air Sword boosts your speed and jump height while you hold it, and the Lightning sword strikes the enemy with lightning when you hit them.
This mod is lightweight and beginner-friendly, perfect for players who want to spice up their combat with new tools without overcomplicating the game. More content, including the Lightning Sword and other surprises, is coming in future updates.
Tested only on NeoForge 1.21.4. Compatability with later versions not guaranteed!

How to Install Elemental Swords on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.8).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Elemental Swords". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Elemental Swords server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Elemental Swords compatible with forge and neoforge?
Elemental Swords officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Elemental Swords – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Elemental Swords consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
