Eli's Compound V

This addon is a reimagining of The Boys: New World by Ratt_king_, a fantastic mod that absolutely deserves your support and recognition. If you enjoy this addon, go show the original mod some love — it’s an incredible project that inspired this one.

This addon brings Compound V, and a full superpower progression system into the Palladium framework, letting you unlock, evolve, and customize abilities with Palladium’s powerful ability engine.

Rather than copying the original mod, this project reimagines the experience with new mechanics, new balance, and a more progression‑focused design.

Compound V System:
The mod uses a risk-based Compound V progression system built around injectable syringes and randomized outcomes.

Compound V (base):
A player with no V powers has a 75% chance to survive and gain one random base power.
Failure is fatal.
If a player already has Compound V powers, reinjection does not reroll powers. It gives a short temporary combat buff package instead.

Compound V1:
A player with no V powers has a 50% chance to survive and gain one random V1 power.
Failure is fatal.
If the player already has a base V power, V1 reinjection upgrades matching base powers into their V1 equivalents.
If the player does not have a V1 version of their power or already has V1 powers, reinjection will give a short temporary combat buff package instead.

Compound V Odessa:
A player with no powers has a 25% chance to gain the Odessa power.
failure is fatal.
Existing power users can attempt a forced swap into Odessa:
If players currently have base V, swap chance is 50%.
If players currently have V1, swap chance is 75%.
On successful swap, previous V/V1 powers are removed and replaced with Odessa.
However if the injection fails, the player will lose their powers completely. If the player has the Odessa power, any reinjection of V will give a short temporary combat buff package.

The addon is not 100% finished, but it’s polished enough for a early release.
Expect more powers, more V‑variants, more interactions, more Palladium‑specific mechanics, and bug fixes.

A quick run down on how the ability work and how you can unlock some abilitys.

• Flight - when fast flying (with a v1 power or odessa) pess the space bar once to use boost/destuctive flight. not all powers will have destructive flight, but all powers with boost flight will have flight knockback and damage.
• Heat/laser vision - right click when the ability is active, that will fire out your beams. the longer you use it the stronger the beam gets.
• Grab/throw - when you are grabing an mob/player right click to throw them.
• Stregnth v1/regen - to unlock the chest blast ability. you must have the weakness and slowness effects, then eat a suspicious stew (any stew will work).
• Speed v1 - right click to use your speed boost.
• Water v1 - right click to use your under water speed boost.
