About this Mod

In Bedrock , you can cancel elytra gliding at any time by pressing the jump key, putting you into freefall. In Java there's no way to stop gliding mid-air — you have to land or hit water first.

This mod adds that missing behaviour. Press jump while gliding to cancel the elytra immediately. You can re-activate it by pressing jump again while falling, which is already standard Java behaviour.

How to Install Elytra Bedrock on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Elytra Bedrock". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
