About this Mod
* This mod Fixes Elytra Deployment & Landing, so that they work even with server lag.
Every client modpack should have it.
- This mod only needs to be installed on the client-side, no special use actions needed, just use your Elytra normally and with confidence. ** Requires Forge version 2860+ on client-side, and is currently only for MC Java Edition 1.12.2 (1.18.2+ might come later if needed)
Tired of your Elytra becoming a deathtrap when the server gets a little laggy?
This is the classic and essential Elytra Fix Module from MASA's Tweakeroo mod made into a Stand-alone Forge mod for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Unfortunately a lot of servers do not allow the Tweakeroo mod to be used because of some of its other features.
This stand-alone Elytra-Fix mod will allow server owners and players to have the benefits of this essential fix without any of the controversy that comes with Tweakeroo's other features.
This mod retains the license used by Tweakeroo; LGPL 3.0.

How to Install Elytra-Fix on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.12.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Elytra-Fix". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Elytra-Fix server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.12.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Elytra-Fix compatible with forge?

Server lagging with Elytra-Fix – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Elytra-Fix consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
