The Elytra Flapping Mod enhances the vanilla Elytra by adding realistic wing-flapping mechanics and the ability to hover in mid-air. Instead of constantly gliding downward, players can flap their Elytra wings to maintain altitude, slow their descent, or hover above the ground.

To keep things balanced, flapping consumes a small amount of hunger and damages the Elytra just like normal flight. You'll need to manage both your food and your Elytra's durability if you want to stay airborne for long amounts of time.
