About this Mod

Adds various features to improve elytras.

Hover Enchantment

Comes in three levels. Each level decreases the cooldown time by 2.5 seconds (50 ticks).
Press the hover key ('V' by default) when wearing an elytra with the enchantment to hover in place.

Wind Rider Enchantment

Comes in three levels.
Each level increases the speed at which you fly with an elytra.
I: 110% Speed
II: 130% Speed
III: 150% Speed

All the enchantments are found in End City chests, and cannot be obtained elsewhere (e.g. villager trading).

Trails

You can add trails to your elytra. Put one of the following items in the Trail trinket slot (hover over the chest area):

Redstone Dust
Glowstone Dust
Slime Ball
Torch
Soul Torch
Dragon Breath
Ink Sac

How to Install ElytraPlus on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "ElytraPlus". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

ElytraPlus server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
