About this Mod
This mod gives every enchanted book its own unique texture, making it much easier to find the one you need at a glance. It is based on a resource pack I previously made, which requires an additional mod implementing CITs to work. With this mod, you do not need to download a resource pack and depend on separate CIT mods that may vary between Minecraft versions and mod loaders.

Configuration
You can configure this mod directly in-game or by editing the JSON file config/ebooks.json in your profile folder. If you're using Fabric and want to adjust the config values in-game, you'll need to install Mod Menu.

How to Install Mars's Enchanted Book Textures on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Mars's Enchanted Book Textures". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Mars's Enchanted Book Textures compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?
Mars's Enchanted Book Textures officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.6. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Mars's Enchanted Book Textures consumes the most tick time.
