About this Mod
This datapack adds a handful of unique elytra enchantments that create new possibilities for mobility!
Recommended for use with the Aviator Helmet datapack.
Enchantment Overview
Aerodynamic I-III
Each level of Aerodynamic decreases the drag experienced by the user, creating a higher coasting speed. With Aerodynamic III, a talented flyer's flight distance is only limited by the elytra's durability!
Not compatible with Hover
Air Jump I-IV
Each level of Air Jump gives the user an extra jump in the air before deploying the elytra as a glider.
Not compatible with Hover
Air Brake
When gliding with an Air Brake elytra, the user can press sneak to quickly slow down to a safe landing speed.
Not compatible with Hover
Hover
The Hover enchantment causes the user to hover instead of glide, giving them creative-style flight in survival mode. While hovering, press jump to gain altitude and sneak to lose altitude.
Only compatible with Mending and Unbreaking
Roceketeer I-II
Each level of Rocketeer causes the user's speed while using firework rockets to increase, allowing for faster travel.
Not compatible with Rocket Blast or Hover
Rocket Blast
When using an elytra with Rocket Blast, firework rockets will explode immediately, giving the user an instantaneous boost of speed. Additionally, if the firework has a Firework Star, the player will be protected from the blast of the explosion, allowing them to dive bomb other entities.
Not compatible with Rocketeer or Hover
Obtaining
When exploring End Cities, the roofs of some buildings will have a new cluster of Shulkers surrounding a Vault block. Using a plain book on the Vault will cause it to be enchanted with one of the enchantments above, weighted towards the enchantments with multiple levels.
The use of a vault was inspired by AtlasPlay's Elytra Vaults datapack.
