About this Mod
Have you ever felt like the Ender Dragon fight is just too easy?
Look no further — this mod overhauls the dull parts of the vanilla End fight and turns it into a more strategic and challenging experience!
The dragon is now deeply connected to its End Crystals, becoming invincible while any crystals are active, and able to respawn them at key health thresholds — turning the battle into a true test of endurance and planning.
But the crystals aren't gonna be that easy to destroy, because only one is vulnerable at a time, making this even more strategic
What this mod does:
Makes the dragon invincible while any End Crystals remain.
Automatically respawns crystals when the dragon reaches 80%, 60%, 40%, or 20% health — if a configurable cooldown has passed.
Grants explosion immunity to the dragon to prevent cheesing.
Switches the crystal vulnerability around after a configurable amount of time, so it's more interesting
Features:
Visual effects, including particles around invincible towers and custom crystal respawn visuals.
Should be compatible with any End-related mods or datapacks.
Configurable via MidnightLib (required).
Command
- /endfightoverhaul crystalRespawnCooldown - non-op command that shows the remaining time until the towers can respawn again
Known issues:
When you enter The End, the crystals are all vulnerable, and take the cooldown time to become invincible. This is a bug I'm aware of, and I haven't yet figured out a good way to fix this issue.
The particles around the towers can take a few seconds to disappear, so it might be a little harder to spot the right tower to target immediately. This is because the particles are longer-lasting, due to their need to last long enough to create the immersive shield effect around the towers.
This mod requires MidnightLib for the config.
