About this Mod

Endelurgy is a vanilla - friendly mod that focuses on adding various ores and resources to the End, and ways to utilize them.

Overview:

The bottom half of end islands is now encompassed by Voidslate - a deep purple rock that is the End's counterpart to Deepslate. Voidslate is noticeably tougher than it's Overworld cousin and requires a Stone Pickaxe to mine. It can be used to create a strong set of blocks useful for building fortifications.

End Stone and Voidslate can also bear ores, notably Lapis - which is far more common in the End, and Adamantite - a bright red metal exclusive to the End. It can be used to create a set of gear that is a tier between Diamond and Netherite. Adamantite tools mine and attack faster than Diamond, and Adamantite armor increases your maximum health. Adamantite can also be used to brew a Potion of Vitality, which increases maximum health. With a Fermented Spider Eye, one can create a Potion of Enervation, which has the opposite effect.

Among the Voidslate, Noxrock also forms - a hard, but brittle rock that releases a cloud of toxic gas when broken. This cloud can inflict a variety of negative effects in a large radius, including Poison, Nausea and Corrosion - a nasty effect that damages all equipped items over time. This can cause your armor and tools to break, so mining Noxrock normally is ill-advised. However, due to it's low blast resistance, explosives are a great way to get rid of it. Noxrock is the only source of Luxite - a rare, brilliant yellow gem with mending properties. Luxite ore is easily spotted from afar thanks to it's bright glow, but is rarely ever exposed. It can be used to brew a Potion of Restoration, which has the exact opposite effect of Corrosion. More importantly, it is a crucial component of Enderite.

Made from Adamantite and Luxite, Enderite is an alloy that makes even Netherite look weak in comparison. However getting it can be quite the challenge, as Enderite gear can only be created by upgrading Netherite gear in a Smithing Table using an Enderite Ingot and an Enderite Upgrade Smithing Template - which can rarely be found in End Cities. On top of having increased durability and enchantability, Enderite armor offers significantly more protection than Netherite (provides 10% resistance against most damage types per piece) and full knockback immunity, while Enderite tools do significantly more damage and mine faster. Additionally, Enderite Chestplates can be combined with an Elytra which allows for armored flight, and wearing an Enderite Helmet allows you to look at Endermen without angering them.

Compatibility:

Alex's Caves - enderite/galena gauntlet compatibility

Quark - compatibility recipes, hoe harvesting

Spelunkery - compatibility recipes, blocks and items (requires custom datapack for ore drops)
