About this Mod
Endshards is a mod for those players who are bored in the endgame. Sure, building has its appeal, but you want challenge! Adventure! Well, you need not look further. Endshards extends the late game by making it more difficult to acquire equipment beyond diamond, each set requiring you to defeat a boss. This includes the existing Netherite, which will require defeating the Wither. If that seems a bit mean, don't worry, Netherite and the new equipment added by Endshards all have special abilities to make your gameplay more fun!
Finally, Endshards will add a new dimension, the Nightmare Realm, somewhat inspired by the Spirit World from Witchery. This new dimension is still in the works, and even I don't know what will be in it yet, but I can promise a variety of biomes and an exciting new boss fight!

How to Install Endshards on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Endshards". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Endshards server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Endshards compatible with fabric?
Endshards officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.19.4, 1.19.3. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Endshards – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Endshards consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
