About this Mod

This mod will collect a few little utility blocks of use for building contraptions.

For now, it contains one major tool - the Item Splitter.

The Item Splitter, and its 3-way and 2-way variants, distribute inserted items evenly between their outputs.

It works like a hopper, but also supports various mod item pipes and other methods of insertion.

Item Splitters are crafted from two intermediate items - the Splitter Input, and a varying number of Splitter Outputs.

The Splitter Input is crafted with the following recipe:
Splitter Input Recipe - Iron, Hopper, Iron, Piston, Clock, Piston, Iron, Redstone, Iron

The Splitter Output is crafted like this:
Splitter Output Recipe: Empty, Iron, Empty, Iron, Hopper, Iron, Empty, Empty, Empty

Splitter Input and Outputs are combined to produce variants of the Item Splitter:

How to Install Eric's Widgets on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Eric's Widgets". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Eric's Widgets server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
