Essentially Emerald

Essentially Emerald 1.19.x version is temporarily only available on Forge mod loader.

Essentially Emerald adds lightweight and vanilla-friendly additions to Minecraft. The added emerald tools and armor fits in seamlessly with the default game and provides an early-game alternative to diamond quality tools.

Along with crafting, various emerald gear has a small chance to spawn in chests generated at:

• Village armorers, toolsmiths, and weaponsmiths
• Pillager outposts and woodland mansions
• Ancient Cities

Stats and Durability

Since emeralds are of high quantity in villages:

• Tools and Weapons are of diamond quality equivalence but have the durability between stone and gold.
• Armor is of diamond quality equivalence but has slightly better durability above gold.
  • Emerald armor also does not provide any toughness stat
• Horse Armor is slightly better than its gold counterpart.
• Emerald gear has the lowest enchantibility factor under iron
